Another trip to Lake Tahoe

I think I swore that Owynn wasn't going to Lake Tahoe again.  Maybe right after our trip there last year, but my sleep deprived brain can't remember.  After this trip, he is no longer banned from Tahoe.  The flight over was okay.  Until after the change of planes.  Because mommy forgot the naptime bottle in the fridge.  In Santa Fe.  So the nap was a painful experience to get into.  Lesson learned: short trips and don't forget the bottle.  Owynn doesn't do so well on that second flight and needs that bottle for a nap.

Upon getting our luggage, I realized that the carseat wasn't in Lake Tahoe.  So, I cried at the Southwest luggage desk.  They had a loaner and would call me when it arrived.  Which, it eventually did.  And they drove it up to Lake Tahoe from Reno that next afternoon.

Some friends joined us  on our trip and made it so much fun!

Loving the bath tub!

O helped me put his shoes on one day

What's not captured is the fact that O was dancing on this bush.  It was really cute to watch!

If you can't get on the back, you can ride the horse on the front

Playing football with Hilary

"I can help you take pictures, Mommy!"

He kissed and pawed the camera...made the lens do fuzzy things

A favorite game, going in and out of doors

He had just been snuggling with Hilary, a rare occurance

Playing with the computer

He was dying to climb everything

So that he could see the bubbles

PGA, here we come!
We went to an elementary school a few miles down the road, everyday.  They had a great play structure and he enjoyed it.  We also went for walks everyday and enjoyed the cooler weather.  Our friends Debie and Alan came to visit as well.  Debi took some great pictures of Owynn enjoying his bubbles.

The school we visited, a lot
Climbing anything he can find

Monkey Boy

A little light reading at breakfast
Spaghetti is a favorite

We went for a walk and he needed to hug a pole

Clickin' away

The week went well, overall and we had a good time playing with new stairs and a new climbing structure.  The flights home were not as good.  Once the plane was at the gate, he was up and saying, "sorry" to everyone around us.  It was really cute!

Next week, we are headed to Dallas to visit our Great-grandma and other family.  School starts for Mommy on the 20th of August, so all of the traveling for the year will be done.

Love and hugs to all!
