Pretend Play

There's been an explosion of pretend play here at our house.  Owynn has had his kitchen for a while but only recently started putting food away, cooking and then washing his hands and serving the food on a plate.  He has a little doll, Eebee, who was lost for a little while and was recently found.  Owynn put him in bed (on the floor) and covered him with a bag for blocks.  Then, patted his back and said "nigh, nigh, beebee. Seer omorrow."  Every night I tell him I love him, to have sweet dreams and I'll see him tomorrow.

Our Aunt Dot gave us some awesome dinosaur puzzles for Christmas and we've learned how to make them "rawr" and run around!  So fun!

Another Christmas gift that's coming in handy is a beautiful wool blanket from our Grandpa Steven.  O has decided that he needs to lay down (on the living room floor) with his pillow (he will go get it form his room for this purpose.

We went to the store and O took his bunny (that sings "Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail" when you push his belly...his mouth opens when he sings) in the car with us.  As we were getting out he gave the bunny some of his water saying, "Here bunny.  Has you some water."
