5 Months of Owynn

My big boy weighs 13.12 pounds and is 25 inches long!  He's getting bigger all the time despite his recent diagnosis of reflux. 

Poor Bug is having a rough month:
He is cutting teeth...just as we were getting that "sleeping through the night" thing down, those dern teeth started bugging us. 
He started choking and not breathing when laying flat.  Then he would regain his breath and scream for 30 minutes because he was so freaked out.  We were a little freaked out too.
He had a serious stomach bug that kept him from having a solid movement for two weeks. 

All of these events have lead to a 5 month old boy who is NOT sleeping during the day.  And a boy who doesn't sleep during the day, doesn't sleep during the wee hours of the morning.  And a boy who doesn't sleep at night or during the day, doesn't eat well.  Over all, Owynn is having a rough month. 

On the plus side...he is able to sit up, unsupported for a few seconds!  He had his first Superbowl party at the house and promptly fell asleep when the first quarter started.  He recently learned to blow raspberries and it is the cutest thing!  Almost as good as him laughing!  He is trying to pull himself up to his hands and knees.  I have a feeling that he will be off an running before we know it!  My sweet boy sings to me and loves taking walks in the back yard.  He is facinated with his aligator toy and the sounds in the world outside his house.

My hope is that we can get his reflux under control in the next few weeks and he can go back to sleeping regular hours.  He is happy despite it all and makes every day a gift.
