Pre-K Graduation

The week we came back from California, I was informed that the Graduation was fast approaching.

Owynn, who loves singing and dancing as evidenced by his experience in VBS, would do great, I just knew it!

We arrived on time, he went back stage and we waited.  Then "Pomp and Circumstance" started and the kids walked down to the stage.  There were a couple speeches by the director and his teacher.  The kids sang and danced and were so proud of themselves.  Overall, it was about 30 minutes...perfect length for 4 and 5 year olds!  There were cookies in the entry as we left.  O was intent on getting one that had "a lot of chips."

They took their seats

Listened quietly

And then tried to read the screen as they singing started

"Look, Mom!!!"

He then was sad, because his hat was too big and he was crying while saying goodnight to Miss Tesla

So much excitement, lead to this end of evening activity.  Mommy thought he was asleep. 

We have a few weeks left until Kindergarten officially starts.  And he's ready.  He's been saying for a few weeks that he doesn't want to go to school anymore.  He wants to stay with me.  Which makes my heart happy and sad at the same time.  On to new adventures!!
