O is still enjoying his new daycare. Some of his friends started kittengarden this week. He's a little sad that his favorite girl, Grace, is gone. He asked if he could go to kittengarden too. Soon buddy!!
O is reading more all the time. He can read all but two words of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. And he reads street signs as we drive around town. He hasn't figured out that some letters stand for other words. And he pronounces them any way. For example: KFC = kiffs, CVS = sivs, GMC = gimk. Sometimes it's hard to translate what he's saying.
Some short boy is getting less short all the time. Recently, his jeans have all become high-waters. My shopping prowess and skills have created a tub of clearance clothing for a boy as he gets bigger. So, I pulled put all of his 4T items. I found that he has four winter coats, right pairs of jeans and enough shorts to last summer, fall and winter. The only thing he didn't have was pajamas. Off we went, to Wal-Mart. He picked out three new pairs. When we went home, he was suddenly, "so tired." He just HAD to put on his new Batman jammies. And get in his bed. At 6:30. I didn't complain. And he was asleep by 8!!!!! The only problem with his new size is that none of them are slim fit. Everything is long enough. Just a little on the wide side. He will get there!!
A few weeks ago we went to Danta Fe to celebrate our friends, Ryan and Andrew's birthday. There was art, pizza and balloons!! Best party this year!!!
This was also the weekend that our Nana broke her foot. Playing with Owynn. He was so sweet and concerned as Nana cried about her foot hurting. He offered lots of hugs and kisses. And insisted that she needed a Polk-a-dot bandaid from sivs.
I love this kid!!!
