Teeth, teeth and more teeth

So, I got this e-mail today from one of those baby sites that gives me information about what my child is doing at any particular point in his life.  This e-mail was all about teeth.  Here's the timeline for those teeth: Teething Timeline.  I laughed out loud when I read this.  Owynn has 16 teeth at 16.5 months.  "Typically," children are about 18 months when they have this many teeth.  O has to be an overachiever!

In other news he's gotten really helpful.  He likes to put his toys away and puts trash in the trash can.  He gets upset if I don't let him put the diaper in the diaper pail.  He also bring me my shoes (the correct pairs) when he's ready to go somewhere.

New words: wow, hi, bubbles, jacket, bird, bath (bass), off, light, what's this, nose, brush, night night
New sign language words: bird (which he does backward.  It's supposed to be like this.  But he does it backward and grabs his nose with his hand ), leaf, wind, bath, drink, eat/food, baby

He currently has his first real head cold.  Congested and coughing but no fever and boogies are clear.  That means there's nothing that can be done, except lots of love, fluids and rest.  And then a fever popped up so we went to the doctor and everything was clear.  She sent us home with a dose of the medication they use to treat croup, in the event that it turns into that.  So far, he's just kinda sluggish and whiny.  She asked how long he has been in daycare and complimented us on his not getting sick until almost three months after starting!

Much love to all!
